NOVA MAGAZINE

Patrick Zerbib (Actuel, The Face,L’Etudiant, Perso) and I first met on the relaunche project of french magazine « l’Etudiant ». It was was a tough but succesful task and when Patrick asked me to join a new project with Jean-François Bizot (Father of French Underground Press and founder of Actuel, Radio Nova, Nova Records, Nova Magazine…) I obviousely gave a big fat YES!
Most of the first issue was made in my bedroom, Patrick and I sitting like school kids next to each other in front of my Mac Quadra 700! Later we moved into The Temple of Nova Press and Actuel on 33 rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, and was joined by Claudine Maugendre, The Picture Editor of Actuel (and Arles Photo Festival), Christian Perrot (Actuel, l’Autre Journal, Nirvanet, Jour, Nuit & Jour) , Vincent Borel (Actuel, Author), Marie Muller (Nouvel Observateur, Author) and many many other great people.
This project led to 10 years of fantastic, crazy, insane and wonderful collaboration with Jean-François Bizot. I was Art Directing Nova Magazine, Nova Records, Novaplanet, Jazz Radio TSF and tons of other projects. One of my greatest experiences ever. Thanks to you up there Jean-François!
