The Inner Market August 16th – 17th, 2024 in Sydhavnen, Aarhus C, as part of the Sydhavnen Festival. Tiny Office, led by Jonas Hjul Hallberg, is the organizer in collaboration with a team of volunteers.

At The Inner Market, people come together in a festive space within a city setting, where visitors participate in a celebration of original craftsmanship and personalized service.

In a scenographic setup, guests are presented with:

• Cut a Friend: With the help of a trained hairdresser, you can cut your best friend’s hair.
• Holes in the Cheese: The cheesemaker from Thise Dairy tries to capture the taste of the holes in the cheese.
• San Hagen: Experience the new taste of Nordic tequila and grasshoppers.
• Portrait Album: Radio host Anders Bøtter records his popular program live on stage, engaging in a dialogue with Lykke Friis about our feelings for football, the EU, and Iron Maiden.
• We Grill the Inner Pig: Presented by chef and food developer Mads Nybro and friends from BETA BETA, crossing all boundaries with a hard punch to the kidneys and a surprising taste experience.
• Musical Power Tool Workshop: Frederik Snæild demonstrates how to make music in the workshop, allowing us to play with everything from a handsaw to a drill.
• Danes’ Eating Habits: Anne Glad provides insight into and tastes of Danes’ preferred foods. Kim Wagner provides the music.
• Scratch a Record: DJ Cemetery invites you to try scratching a vinyl record in the record shop.
• Starstruck: Entertaining with original copies from the workshop stage.
• Is culture healthy at all, and can it heal us?: Region Midt engages in a debate and collaboration with the healthcare system and various artists.
• Berserker Box from the National Museum and Kongernes Jelling: Shout out your frustrations in a private room.
• Transformation Sphere: Illusionist Jan Hellesøe’s mesmerizing voice shifts thoughts one by one.
